About this Rug
Handwoven tribal rugs from the Tora Bora mountains of Aghanistan. Primarily woven by Pashtun and Baluch tribespeople. Very geometric and intricate design, borrowing largely from Turkoman and Tajik influences. Durable, they mostly come in smaller sizes. They also weave saddlebags, salt bags, prayer rugs, which reflect their nomadic way of life.
