Borchelu rugs are woven by nomadic tribes of the Borchelu district of Northwestern Iran. They have a strong Kurdish and Kazak influences. Borchelu rugs are a hard wearing good quality single wefted rugs with bright colors. Designs vary from florals to stylized geometrics.
