About this Rug
Koliais are tribal Persian rugs woven by artisan nomadic Kurdish weavers in western Iran. Bright and lively, they often have hexagonal herati medallion designs. As with all nomadic weavings their rugs were not woven for commercial us but for their day to day needs. These stunning tribal wool rugs blend beautifully with traditional and southwestern decor styles.
