Meshkin or Meshkinshahr is a village in mountains of Azerbaijan in Northwestern Iran. The rugs have a strong Turkoman influence with strong geometric shapes, predominantly using diamond medallions. They are of good quality and very sturdy rugs. The colors are usually reds, greens, navy blues, olives. These Meshkin hand woven rugs are an exotic and unique work of tribal art that will fill your decor with its warmth and beauty.
