The Luri are a nomadic tribe from the Zagros Mountains of southwestern Iran. Their weavings are strongly influenced by the kurdish style using bright colors for their floral and geometric patterns. As with all nomadic weavings their rugs were not woven for commercial us but for their day to day needs. These stunning tribal wool rugs blend beautifully with traditional and southwestern decor styles.
